Meagre Offering

MEAGRE OFFERING – Are you one, whose offerings to God, when compared with others, is extremely meagre? Listen to Jesus’ take on any poor offering that is given from the heart. Observing how people gave, He was so impressed by the giving of a poor widow, He preached a two-sentence sermon about it. He preached that the wealth of giving of the rich can’t compare with the meagre giving of the poor who give all. Jesus delights in you giving what you have.

 

Holy Lord, I am not rich in many ways, but the little I do have, I give freely to You. Amen!
