Rejoice, You Are Found

REJOICE, YOU ARE FOUND – In Jesus’ parable about the lost things – the coin, the sheep, the son – there’s jubilation at the end. This merriment was the result of what was lost being found. Note! Our Lord never found the sheep, gave it a good scolding and then told it to find its way back. No! A thousand times no! He’s so happy that He has found His missing sheep that He gently takes it up, attends to it and takes it home. Have you heard? The disobedient, lost, stray one, now found, goes home in the arms of the rejoicing Shepherd. Only faith allows you to accept and show this fact. 

 

Saviour of Love, I rejoice in my salvation, because You are rejoicing in me and with me. Amen!
