Call From A Distance

 

Lepers called out from a distance,

With strong voices of persistence,

Calling to the Master, Jesus,

Jesus, Lord have mercy on us.

 

We are sinners, each one of us,

And we all are desirous,

Of Your pardon and saving grace,

Jesus, turn not away Your face.

 

We are leprous, bound fast in sin,

Cleanse us Lord, without and within,

From sin’s distance, we call to You,

Jesus, Master, pity us too.

 

Jesus, for Your mercy we plead,

Look upon us, and see our need,

Though sin keeps us from drawing near,

We know our voices You can hear.

 

Thank You Jesus, You heard our prayer,

Thank You, that for sinners You care,

You cleansed and made us whole and new,

Draw us Jesus, closer to You.
