Sincere Love

SINCERE LOVE – The moment we see the words, sincere love, we are being told that there is also insincere love. What then is sincere love? It is love that knows no dissimulation, no hiding, no pretenses, but is true to itself.  Open, sincere love abhors all that is evil and cleaves to all that is good. If you know the love of the Lord, you too will hate evil and cling to what is good.

 

Teach me O Lord to love and hate as You do, for You are our One, True Love. Amen!
