BROTHERLY LOVE - One of the great love-lessons being taught in the parable of the Prodigal Son, is that our Father in heaven, wants us to love as He loves. It is plain to see how the father in the parable, wanted his elder boy to love his younger brother, in the same way he, the father, loved him. Is not our Father in heaven teaching us, commanding us even, to love our brothers and sisters, not because they have done right or wrong, but because He is love? John reminds us that if we love God, we must love our brothers and sisters.
Show me how to love You Father, that I may learn how to love my brothers and sisters in You. Amen!
