Jesus Heals Few

October 18

JESUS HEALS FEW – The adjective, few, is totally foreign to the manner in which Jesus heals. Healing is not just what Jesus loves to do, but He is obeying His Father’s commands. Here it is, He goes to His hometown and can only heal a few sick. Why is this? Simply because they refused to accept Him for who He was. They held up barriers of doubt, pride, prejudice and more, against Him, dishonouring Him and His works. Jesus is among us in Spirit. Is He healing many or few?

Save, we beseech You, O God, from being obstinate like the people in Jesus’ hometown. We are many, who need healing, Father, including me. Amen!
