In fleeing from the en’my, God’s children met a block,
The waters of the Red Sea, before them was a shock,
They had no boats, no vessels to carry them across,
To enter in those waters, will bring their drowning
loss;
For who can stem the tides of life with waters that
assail?
Who can cross over such waters, and still hope to
prevail?
The enemy’s still pursuing, relentless and swift,
Who can help God’s children, and their fallen spirits
lift?
God speaks to His servant, to keep His children
moving,
The way is still before you, just you keep advancing,
For who wants to press forward when the path is so
daunting?
Who can see a future, when there can be no escaping?
But God still controls the path His children are
walking,
He’s thrilled to use a human hand to show how He’s
working,
Through His servant’s hand, God Almighty parts the
waters;
Providing a way of delivery, the enemy’s hopes He
shatters,
For who can tell how God will work, just what He is
planning?
Who’d fathom through human hands He would the sea be parting?
Tell My people keep moving, the waters will be
parting,
Through human hands I’m crafting, the path of their
delivering,
The enemy will see it all and try to use My way,
But see! For each pursuing foe it’ll be destruction
day,
For who can tell God what to do and how it must be
done?
Who can deny that victory in Him is always won?
Amen!
