SIP THIS CUP OF WISDOM

                                                 

                        

"Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, before honour is humility." 

                                                   Proverbs 18 : 12.( KJV)

Let wisdom prevail,

It will never fail,

Its words are true,

Whether many or few,

And all who take note,

Who their lives devote,

To wisdom’s advice,

Will ne'er pay the price

Of a haughty heart,

Doomed from the start.

Before destruction,                                             

Pride’s exultation,

Makes the heart puffed up,

And God's grace doth stop.                                      

If your heart’s haughty,                                       

Seek humility,

It's the guarantee,

For all who are free;

Haughty ways to hide,

Free from selfish pride.

Heed wisdom's advice,

It seeks but one price,

A heart that's loving,

Not just self-seeking.

Before destruction,

Pride is in action;

But before honour!

Humility’s colour.  

    Amen!
