TO YOU IS BORN A SAVIOUR

     

Without any sign or any warning,

While by night, shepherds their flocks were watching,

They had an experience supernatural, 

Where visitors, extraterrestrial, 

Brought them good news! To you is born a Saviour. 

Without pretense, without disguised manner,

Visibly shaken by that encounter,

As the Glory of God around them shone,

Those men became terrified, every one,

Be not afraid! To you is born a Saviour.

Without skepticism or resistance,

The shepherds saw that all in attendance,

Came down from heaven, the way God did choose

To supernaturally bring them Good News,

Glory to God! To you is born a Saviour.

Without the hand of doubt’s interference,

Being no more in the angels’ presence,

They did not procrastinate or linger,

But hurried straight off, to find that manger,                               

Hallelujah! To you is born a Saviour.

 

Without any sign or any warning,

As you hold and guard fears in safe keeping, 

May you, supernaturally experience,

The glory of God in chosen Presence;

Fear longer! To you is born a Saviour.

                                             Amen!
