THERE IS A PATH NOT KNOWN BEFORE

                                                       

There is a way not known before,

Where love abounds forever more,

A path that leads to unknown scenes

Where never you have ever been,

It is the path that faith commands,

Where you are led by God’s own hands;

No carnal eyes can see the end,

So do not on you sight depend.

There is a way not known before,

Where on God’s wings you’re made to soar,

To heights of love, no heart can reach,

Unless the Spirit, love’s ways teach,

It is the giving of the heart,

Not with condition, or in part;

No human heart can such attain,

Seek not your good, it brings no gain.    

There is a way not known before,

Where works of God you will adore,

Wonders, as you have never known,

All from God and from God alone,

It is path God has chosen,

It is the Word He has spoken;

No natural mind, can this work out,

Trust not the mind, it’ll bring you doubt.

There is a way not known before,

Where love abounds forever more,

A path that leads to God’s favor,

His glory in unmatched splendor;

When faith follows in obedience,

Love will see no inconvenience;

No earthly love will this path know,

Refuse all that the world will show.
