SPIRIT OF GOD

Breathe On Me Spirit In This Hour

                                                 

Spirit of God, breathe on me now,

Smooth all the furrows on my brow,

With Your life-filling, soothing breath,

Save me from all the taunts of death.

Spirit of God, blow in my heart,

Fill me in every single part,

Blow as You will, and how or where,

Only  let me Your Spirit bear.

Spirit of God, break through my space,

Fill me with Your transcending grace,

Let sound and sight be seen and heard,

Lord I surrender to Your word.

Spirit of God, bless and forgive,

For in Your pardon, I can live,

Fill and indwell me with Your pow’r,

Breathe on me Spirit in this hour.
