WHAT IS YOUR AUTHORITY – When you speak to others, under whose authority are you speaking and acting? There’s a picture in Acts 12: 21, where, Herod, wearing his royal robes, sat down on his throne and delivered a public address to the people. From his authority, he spoke, taking all power and glory unto himself. This greatly displeased God. What is your authority, as you speak to others? Are you wearing your robes of self-knowledge, seated on your throne of self-righteousness? Make sure you’re under God’s authority, wearing His garments.
Clothe and place me in You Lord, for You are the One Authority, Power and Glory. Amen!
