THE HEART OF WORSHIP

 Let my life be worship, pleasing to Thee,

Not what I think Lord, only what You see.

For whatever I speak, or say, or do,

I ask that it be pleasing Lord to You.  

Let my life be worship, holy to Thee,

Let what I do be of You, not of me,

For in my heart, let me not be deceived,

I pray my worship to You be received.

Let my life be worship, fitting to Thee,

That Father, Son and Spirit may agree,

For if worship is my true offering,

I ask only that it be a blessing.

Let my life be worship, only to Thee,

In repentance I come with but one plea,

For if there is ought but love in my heart,

Your Presence will surely from me depart.

Let my life be worship, pleasing to Thee,

For only Your Spirit can make me free,

Free in Your pure and unmerited grace,

I ask only that I may see Your face.
