UNDER A CURSE IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD

          

If under a curse, means the lowest low                  If under a curse, is Your place for me,

 In Your house Lord, then let it be so,                     I have no complaints Lord not one plea,  

 For the death from You that I deserve,                    My spared life to You, I surrender                

 You cancel, and my life You preserve.                   I’ll be Your slave Lord, and no other. 

If under a curse, this I’ve received,                      If under a curse, is my portion,

 Because Your people I have deceived,                   And a slave path  be my position,

 As long as You do not banish me,                        I’ll serve in Your place and be thankful,

 All that I am I offer to Thee.                                For You have been to me merciful.

If under a curse, my work must be,                     If under a curse, I’m the lowest,    

 Sovereign Lord, help me ever to see,                    Though a cursed slave, I know I’m still blest,  

 I’m where I am only by Your grace,                       Though I was naught but a deceiver

 I don’t even merit such a place.                           You forgave me a wretched sinner.
