You Are Mine

                          

     I DIED for you, O child of sin,                        I CAME for you, O child of fear,

            Why won’t you let Me enter in                    Won’t you not hear these words of Mine?

            And stay, why do you turn away?                 I am your truth, your life, your way,

            Letting life’s cares cause you to stray?         Not just for future, but today. 

     I ROSE for you, O child of woe,                   I LIVE for you, O child of mine,

            Because I wanted you to know,                    So that My life in you will shine,

           The care and burdens that you bear,           Doubts and fears must never define,

           I’ve come to take, not just to share.             Your life I died for, you are Mine.
