Crucified With Jesus

CRUCIFIED WITH JESUS - You are familiar with people like the Apostle Paul, telling you that he has been crucified with Jesus. Is he saying that he has suffered and died with Jesus and is now alive as Jesus is? No, for when Paul was preaching this, he knew no physical death. Paul, like all others, is referring to the mortifying of his flesh so that he is free to live according to the Spirit. What about you? Have you been crucified with Jesus?  You will know by the fruit you bear. 

 

I no longer live but Christ now occupies my body through His Holy Spirit. Thanks be to God. Amen!
