Discipline Of No Yeast

DISCIPLINE OF NO YEAST – One of the works of yeast is to blow things up with air, that which does not give stability and strength to life. Jesus warns about the yeast of all Pharisee-minded people. When God commanded a seven day fast from all yeast, it was for all people, native born or alien. All who disobeyed were to be cut off from the community. This discipline of yeast still holds for all believers, where we do not feed on worldly yeast. To do so is to cut oneself from the community of God.

 

Holy God, You are our full satisfaction. We resist any worldly yeast to remain in You. Amen!
