REFUGE FOR THE POOR – Evil is prevalent in this world, and evildoers carry out the work of the master of evil. Just as God has disciples, or servants, so too the devil has his disciples or servants. The servants of the evil one are wicked and they frustrate the plans of the poor. But the Lord promises to be with the poor, those who are being disadvantaged by others, those whose hearts are towards Him.
Creator God, You are still our guaranteed refuge and stronghold. We look to You. Amen!
