Suffering Son

SUFFERING SON – Our Lord, in telling the parable about the tenants, made it quite clear that servants were not the only ones persecuted, beaten and even killed. There was a son, the heir and the evil tenants became even more defensive and aggressive. The appearing of the son threatened them and they had no qualms about killing him to ensure the inheritance would be theirs. But God is not asleep and He will avenge the blood of His servants and Son. Continue to read the parable, as is suggested in the reading.

 

Holy Father, You never thought it right to save Your Son and put the suffering on Your servants only. You are Just and Holy. Amen!
