Yeast Banned

YEAST BANNED – In the Old Testament we read of the time when all yeast was banned from the houses of the people of God. It was a most stringent exercise, for regardless of how good a thing was, it had to be thrown out as it could not be found anywhere in the house of a Hebrew. If yeast represents all the things which cause haughtiness, arrogance, pride and self-aggrandizement, then hasten to sweep them all away from within and without you.

 

Holy Spirit, expose the yeast that is hidden within me and give me the boldness, honesty and courage to empty the house of my heart and mind from them all.   Amen!
