SHOW COMPASSION – The vision given to Obadiah by God is short, sharp and most serious indeed. God shows His mind about people who have no sympathy or compassion on those who are in their day of punishment, distress, weakness and utter destruction. Because you are not experiencing their tremendous woes, regardless of how much they are feeling the heavy wrath of God, you are not to laud it over them. God gave Obadiah many don’ts, read them and heed them. What you are doing as something proper, may be most displeasing to Jehovah.
Sovereign God, teach me my place at all times please. Amen!
