Grace

 

Grace is both sinless and divine,

Grace brings God’s good and makes them mine.

 

Grace is for rich as well as poor,

Grace comes to us with much and more.

 

Grace meets us ere we fall or stand,

Grace does for us what God has planned.

 

Grace sees the beauty in a soul,

Grace works to make that sinner whole.

 

Grace is a gift none can merit,

Grace is lavished without limit.

 

Grace is full and it is all free,

Grace says that like Christ, I can be.

 

Grace can’t abide with human pride,

Grace and pride aren’t on the same side.

 

Grace delights in humility,

Grace is God’s own sincerity.

 

Grace is always freely given,

Grace, God’s perfect gift from heaven.
