GRIEF – We are told that people handle grief in several different ways, where Jesus is concerned. This is what I mean. When some people suffer the loss of a loved one, they become so overwhelmed and feel so helplessly lost and devastated they simply want to find Jesus and run to Him. On the other hand however, there are those who will stay clear of Jesus and simply don’t want to hear anything about His supernatural works. Such is human nature, but to which of these do you fit? When Mary and Martha were grieving the loss of their beloved brother, Lazarus, do you know that Martha was the one who went out to meet Him, while Mary refused to go to Him? Which are you?
Come to us in our grief Lord, please come to us. Amen!
