FAITH FIRST – Jesus once sent out the Twelve on mission and He ensured that faith in Him was first. He ensured that faith stood before some of the things they thought they could not do without. You will agree with me that to send your disciples on mission and tell them to take nothing for the journey is enough to make some of them turn back. Although they were ordered not to take staff, bag, bread, money or an extra tunic, their faith in their Master was enough for them to obey and go. What is your faith in Jesus like? To what extent do you trust Him? What evidence do you have today, which shows your implicit faith in Him?
Though my faith is not great, Master, I still come. Amen!
