GRIEVING THE BELIEVERS – Paul is quite aware of inner turmoil within the believers at Corinth and he has thought it wise to refrain from visiting them as he said he would do. His last visit to them was very painful and his desire and delight is not to grieve them in any way. Is this not a very true experience of many? Your love for your spiritual family is so deep that you would rather stay away from them for a time, than grieve them. This is Paul’s heart. For if I grieve you, who is left to make me glad but you whom I have grieved? 2 Corinthians 2: 2
Grant me good judgement and sincerity that my love for my brothers and sisters in Jesus, will shine forth. Amen!
Read 2 Corinthians 2: 1 - 4
