JESUS GLORIFIED BY GOD – Peter and John are dealing with a crowd of astonished onlookers who simply can’t believe that a dead Jesus is the Name by which Peter and John have done a mighty great miracle. They can’t doubt the works, for the man who has been a cripple from birth, is now walking and leaping and giving praise to God, before their astounded eyes. The problem is with Jesus, whom they know has been publicly crucified and has been dead for some months now. Peter turns to this unbelieving crowd and speaks truth to them. God has glorified His servant Jesus.
Holy, Sovereign God, You who have glorified Jesus, glorify Him in us too please. We truly want to believe with and in our words and works. Amen!
