You Are Worthy

 

You are worthy of all honour and glory,

Majestic Lord God of all mystery,

Creator of all things big and small,

Your will is reflected in them all,

All things are subjected to Your will,

Lord, please, all Your will in us instill!

 

You are worthy of all merit and might,

You created the world to Your delight,

A world made good at Your command,

Sun, moon and stars, and all wet and dry land,

All things created, must bow to You,

Lord, save us from this world’s pomp and ado. 

 

You are worthy of all strength and power,

From what O God, do You have to cower?

You are the all-powerful, none can gainsay,  

Who can prove Your power has swag and sway?

All things to Your power must relent,

Lord, teach us the way to praise and repent. 

 

You are worthy of all worship and reverence,  

Who Lord can stand in Your Divine Presence?

Holy God, Father, Creator and Lord,

Your hallowed Name we exalt and applaud,

All things at Your feet, must bow down and fall,

Lord, help us ever to hear when You call.
