Messiah, Jesus, come rule in this land,
Come in the way that God for You has planned,
Though there’s much we still do not understand,
Come to us Messiah, with mighty Hand.
Messiah, Jesus, come reign in this clay,
Forgive us, we often go our own way,
Though we say we follow You every day,
Messiah, save us from such false display.
Messiah, Jesus, come raise up this mind,
For only in You, true life we will find,
Free us from every stronghold of sin’s bind,
In You, Messiah, new minds are refined.
Messiah, Jesus, come regain this heart,
Once, with You, we were not ever apart,
But this world’s cares choked us in every part,
Messiah, in You, we seek a new start.
Messiah, Jesus, come rest in this soul,
We are bruised and wounded, please make us whole,
Deceit, like a thief, came and our faith stole,
Find us lost, Messiah, take full control.

You came to take our sin, guilt and disgrace,
Snatch us from sin, keep us in Your embrace,
