First Lord's Day Sunday

FIRST LORD’S DAY SUNDAY – On this first Lord’s Day Sunday, in the still brand new year, what a distinct privilege has been given you to be present and before the Lord in thanksgiving. Come as you are! Come with all your new-year concerns. Come with your joys and your sorrows! Come with your hunger and thirst. Come before our Father’s throne of grace and seek His face. His face is hope, comfort, strength and fortitude, to persevere in Him. 

 

Holy God, I come in sincere prayer, seeking You. I need You Father, for this life can be very scary and daunting. Father, as I seek Your face, grant me spiritual eyes to know You. Amen!
