WEDNESDAY - VISIT US – Turn your thoughts to Mary and Martha. We are told that Jesus accepted Martha’s open invitation to stay at her home. Will you see Jesus as visiting her and her sister, as He stayed in their home? Jesus has come to you in a special way. He has visited you in a most homely way. What is the result of this privileged visit? Will you be as Mary, forgetting all human hospitality and protocol, to sit avariciously at Jesus’ feet, drinking in every word that comes from His lips? Mary is only able to do this, because Jesus has visited.

Continue to visit us dear Master, in Spirit and in Truth. Help me never to be ashamed or apologetic, to sit at Your feet listening and learning, while others are otherwise minded. Amen!
