REJOICING MOTHERS – Rejoicing is the mother whose children praise her and are her daily blessing. They call her blessed, and are most thoughtful, loving and kind towards her. She speaks not of hardships, pain and sacrifices made for her children, but of the grace and mercy of God to be able to give herself to them unselfishly. O yes, many a mother, biological or not, is praised by children who have found in them the love and service of the Lord. Rejoice O mother! Rejoice!
Father, You who delight in the praises of Your obedient children, we come with grateful thanks for all mothers who have been obedient and have brought up their children in Your care and fear. Bless them, we pray and keep them in Your Way. Amen!
