BELIEVE! DON’T DOUBT – James tells us that people who doubt are just like waves in the sea. Look at the waves in the ocean. All you observe is how they are tossed and flung about, with no kind of staying power. When you live under the shadow of doubt, you too will be tossed about in your mind and you will find that peace, assurance, stability, joy and all the blessings which trust in God affords, elude you. Believe in the Lord Jesus for He is your staying power.
Lord Jesus, I do believe in You and really want to live a worry-free life in You. But I need help with the doubts that are too big for me, but not for You. Help me please. Amen!
