Your Compelling Force

YOUR COMPELLING FORCE – Many things happen to us, where we are compelled to act in a certain way. We are compelled by fear, greed, anxiety, hatred, love, charity, pity and more. Nevertheless, the only compelling force in the believer’s life, should be the force of the Holy Spirit.  The Lord is not mocked and He does not take kindly to His children, to whom He has given His Spirit, being compelled to act because of another compelling voice. Remember Saul and how angry God was with him. Why? Because Saul saw doing what was lawful, before obedience to God.

 

God, I know that You are Just and Holy. Save me from thinking that anything else, whether good or bad, can ever stand before obedience to You. Amen!
