Hear And Act

HEAR AND ACT – Is it not true that we hear and act, depending on the severity of our situation? We are told that a terrible storm is coming and that we will lose electricity and water. What do we do? We hear the warnings and go straightway to buy cases of drinking water, batteries for lamps and more. Remember Jacob? There was a great famine in the place where he lived. However, as soon as he heard that a foreign, faraway place, had food, he immediately acted. He sent his sons to buy food. What have you heard about Jesus? Have you acted on it?

 

Saviour Jesus, ever with us, let me not remain in my state of famine, but always be ready to seek Your mercy. Amen!
