LEAVE – Believers, meaning well, sometimes lead us into false advice about God, when they do not know His thoughts and His mind. When, because of undue stress and threat of life, you will leave a place to go to another, you are given a lecture on faith. You are asked things such as, where is your faith and this makes you feel guilty and become all depressed and down. Just remember Paul. After his conversion, full of faith, he went to Jerusalem, but it was there that God told him to leave quickly, because his life was threatened. Faith is not what you do but what God tells you to do. Listen to Him, not to others.

 

Father, save me from all that is nice-sounding, faith-showing, Christ-minded and turn my eyes to You please. Lead me to do as You say. Amen!
