BELIEF THROUGH THE WORD – The power of God’s Word, spoken through Paul, His servant, is both fascinating and frightening. Paul meets a sorcerer, who is pushing his evil word against the True Word of God. The power of the Holy Spirit comes upon Paul and speaking directly to the sorcerer, a child of the devil, strikes him with temporary blindness. When Sergius Paulus, the man whom the sorcerer was trying to convince differently, saw what had happened, he believed, because he was amazed at the teaching of God. Never underestimate the power of the Word in a true disciple of Jesus.
Lord, I believe that Your Word still has the same power as in olden days. Amen!
