RESOLUTION OR RESIGNATION – There are times, when trials of life come so heavily and persistently upon you, that all your efforts are to no avail. You then give in to what’s happening in your life, resigning yourself to defeat and a sorrowful heart and mind. Heed the Holy Spirit, not the unwanted spirit that is offering you the path of resignation. No! Hear and heed the Holy Spirit, even now, who offers you comfort and strength to deny the spirit of resignation and receive Him, the Spirit of resolve. He keeps your frail faith resolved in Him, so that in the midst of your trials, you look to Him and not yourself.
O Holy Spirit, You have changed my way and my thinking. Now, in You, I am resolved to go through these trials, in Your mercy and strength. Amen!
