WHY REFUSE GOD’S BREAD – A loving sister has prepared bread for her hungry brother, in the presence of others. Then she took the pan and served him the bread, but he refused to eat. Send everyone out of here, Amnon said. So everyone left. 2 Samuel 13: 9. His reason for refusing to eat her fresh, new bread, was sinfully ugly. Do you know that there are times when many refuse to accept God’s Grace, His Living Bread, because of sinfully ugly reasons also? Jude warns us of such people among us, who turn God’s grace into lasciviousness and deny the true Love which Christ offers. Beware!
Holy Spirit, it is so easy to please the self. But I ask that You save me from the ever demanding carnal desires, which will only cause me to rape Your Loving Word and Way. Amen!
