SAME NAME; DIFFERENT CHARACTERS - Some persons, who have the same name as another, who is an infamous character, can become very obsessed with his or her name, and become extremely defensive. Please take heart and know that Jesus chose two people of the same name, but totally different in behaviour. It is not your name only that Jesus looks at. It is your faithfulness and loyalty to Him as Lord, which interests Him.
Lord, let not my given name hold me, but who Your Name is. Your Name is Hallowed. Keep me, with my given name, looking to Your Name and seeking to honour Your Name only. Amen!
