Coincidence

COINCIDENCE – Coincidence is not part of the vocabulary of our Lord and it should not be found in ours either. If we have given our lives to the Lord, will He not direct our paths according to His purpose? Will He not have a direct hand in the experiences in our lives? What do you say about Ruth? She went into a stranger’s field to work and it turned out to be a field owned by her deceased husband’s relative. Was that simply coincidental, or was that definitely the working hand of God?

 

Holy God, teach me sense! Save me from giving over Your planned work to chance. Amen!
