Crucify Him

CRUCIFY HIM – Long ago, people who were devout Jews, worshippers of God, looked at His One and Only Begotten Son, the Son in whom He was well pleased, and shouted as loudly as they could, with hatred and venom in their voices, “Crucify Him”.  Why? Because, they ignorantly followed leaders, teachers, elders and priests who saw Jesus and His words and works, as of the devil. They had no eyes or ears for love, only law. They saw Jesus, as never satisfying the requirements of the law. What are you saying about Jesus today?

Holy Jesus, this scares me so! Ignorance still prevails in high and low places, and we are easily persuaded by law and not by love. Have mercy upon us, and snatch us from the error of our ways. Amen!
