WISDOM OR WICKEDNESS – The writer of the Book of Proverbs admonishes us strongly not to set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil. He is as clear and firm in his warning not to even look at it. We are to avoid it altogether, turn from it and go on our way. If we are wise, we will heed and not walk in paths of wickedness, no matter how enticing and lovely they may be presented to us. Keep on God’s path!
Holy God, Your wisdom is never palatable and enticing to my carnal senses. So Lord, I give myself up to You, with all my desires and aspirations. I ask that You endue me with Your Spirit that I may live in joyful contentment of all that You have provided for me. Amen!
