THE WRONG PEOPLE – Someone once made this statement. Blessed is the man who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God. Luke 14: 15b. In response, Jesus told a parable about a man who had a great banquet and invited those who were self-sufficient. The shocking reality was that on the day of the banquet, the invited guests all had some reason for not being able to attend. The Master of the banquet became angry and sent his servant to bring in, to compel all who were not invited at first. The banquet hall was filled with all the wrong people.
Holy Father, let me not be cast down when I am weak, sick, poor and totally handicapped to help myself. Show me again, that I make up part of the wrong people and so I have a place in Your Great Banquet. Amen!
