TREASON – Why would you have to shout the cries of Treason! Treason? Be warned and be not like Athaliah, who became a self-appointed leader and was most vindictive in her ways. The rightful ruler was hidden from her and when he was of the minimum age to be presented to the people, he was brought out in full regalia, unknown to Athaliah. When she heard the pomp and rejoicing, she became angry. All that came from her lips were, Treason! Treason! She was the one guilty of treason, but wickedness and venom blinded her to truth about herself. Where are you? Make sure that all you do, think, speak and feel are of God and not of yourself. Treason, in no form, should be your label.
Father, save me from all treason, please. Amen!
