When It's Time To Go, Go

WHEN IT’S TIME TO GO, GO – Obedience to God must never be compromised, regardless of how things may sometimes seem. When it is time to leave a place where God sent you, or leave a people, to whom He sent you, do not fail to listen and leave. It must have been very difficult for Paul to decline the gracious, warm invitation of the Ephesians to spend more time with them. Paul had to decline, because he was under orders of God. How disciplined are you to God’s ways? How faithful are you to His words? When God tells you to go, be happy and contented to go. When God tells you to leave, be just as happy and thankful to obey and leave.

I know Lord, that obedience in all things pleases You. Make me obedient in my coming and going please. Amen!
