COLLECTIVE FAITH – We read these words in Mark 2: 5a. When Jesus saw their faith. Jesus saw some men bringing a paralytic to Him and four of them were carrying the man. Jesus did not only see the collective efforts of a group of men. He was sighted enough to see their collective faith also. It was their faith, not the paralytic’s, which caused Jesus to help and heal the paralytic. You may think that your faith is nothing much, but joined with the faith of friends, our unchanging Lord still sees and still honours collective faith.
Jesus! Lover of every sinner, thank You for faith. Thank You for honouring the collective faith of ordinary people. Amen!
