THIRD SUNDAY IN ADVENT – On this wonderful third Lord’s Day, Sunday in Advent, we think of Jesus, our human example. If indeed, you no longer live, but Christ Jesus lives in you, then you have become an example for others to follow. Paul, a devout and faithful servant of the Lord, found no problem in telling others to use him as an example of godly living. Can you tell others, to emulate whatever they see in you? Can you assure them that by practising what you speak and show, God’s peace will be with them?
Holy Jesus, straighten me out in this truth please. If indeed I have died to self and Your Spirit lives and moves in me, then others can emulate You, in me. Amen!
