To Whom Are You A Slave

TO WHOM ARE YOU A SLAVE – No one wants to be anybody’s slave, and even to mention the word slave, is considered insensitive, and horrendous. Today, nonetheless, we are listening to the wisdom of Paul, as he speaks about all humankind being slaves to sin. However, thanks to God, we no longer have to be slaves to sin which leads to death. We can now be slaves to obedience, which leads to righteousness. 

 

Holy God, thank You for giving us freedom from the slavery of sin. We willingly choose to be Your slaves, obedient to You, receiving Your righteousness. Amen!
