Praise

                                     

Come with deep praise, come with unmuffled shout,

Let praise to God be heard from all about,

A New Year dawns from east, west, north and south,

Praise deep in the heart and sweet in the mouth,

God has brought you to another New Year,

Through His tender mercy and loving care,

Though many are ill and are tempest torn,

Burdened and troubled, some weary and worn,

God is faithful, even in this season,

Believe, though you do not know the reason,

He’s brought you this far for His own Name’s sake,

Let not this world’s trials faith from you take,

Give praise! Yes still praise your God and your King,

Praise! To your heart He will rest and peace bring,

Praise God, for His mercy still doth endure,

Praise Him, He is faithful, forever sure,  

This New Year He’s given, what ere betide,

Let praise to God ever with you abide.
