TRANSFIGURATION SUNDAY – In many Christian denominations, today is Transfiguration Sunday. One of the facts which we must never take lightly, is the practice of prayer. Whether or not, on this occasion it was spoken, or silent prayer, we do not know. Nevertheless, we do know that while Jesus was praying, He was transfigured. This was witnessed by the three disciples whom He took with Him. More things still take place in prayer, than we can imagine. Prayer pleases the Father.
Holy Father, keep us ever mindful of the power of prayer and Your faithfulness to prayer. Amen!
